KHF is partnering with Pu'ukohola Heiau National Historic Site as their fiscal sponsor for their annual Establishment Day or La Ho'oku'ikahi Cultural Enrichment Festival in 2006. It is our goal to help the gathering organizers with fund development for their Hawaiian culture and arts programs.

Each cultural gathering at the various National Parks are very different due to their geographic location and the traditions that originated in those Hawaiian communities. It is this unique divesity that is important to retain and perpetuate.

A grant for the 2006 La Ho'oku'ikahi Cultural Festival is from the County of Hawai'i's Product Enrichment Program and the Hawai'i Tourism Authority.
